I Worship God When I Pray to Him

Sunday we talked about a man in the Old Testament named Elijah. Elijah worshipped God when Elijah prayed to Him. Elijah ran away and hid inside a cave because Queen Jezebel wanted him killed. Elijah was uncertain about life, discouraged because he thought he was the only worshipper of God and tired because he had been wandering in the wilderness for 40 days and nights. When Elijah poured his heart out to God, God answered the lonely, discouraged, tired man. God did not answer in the windstorm, or the earthquake or the fire...but God answered in a still small voice.
When we pray to God we are saying...
God you are are bigger than things that happen in life and I need you...We WORSHIP God!
We should pray to God in all situations for He knows all things and can do all things!
We worship God when we Pray to Him!
memory verse: Be still and know that I am God... Psalm 46:10
